Section One

Shipping & Delivery

When will my order arrive?

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. Once dispatched, delivery generally takes 2–5 business days depending on your location within South Africa.

You'll receive a confirmation email when your order is placed and a tracking notification once it ships.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery is a flat R89 on orders below R750. Orders of R750 or more qualify for complimentary delivery anywhere in South Africa.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, Kavrah Scents delivers within South Africa only. We're working on expanding internationally — sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know.

What happens if there's a courier delay?

Once your parcel has been handed over to our courier partner, delivery timeframes are managed by them. While we work with reliable partners and most parcels arrive within the expected window, Kavrah Scents is not responsible for delays once an order has been dispatched.

If your tracking hasn't updated for several days or you have concerns, please get in touch and we'll help follow up.

Section Two

Returns & Refunds

Can I return an unopened fragrance?

Yes. Unopened products may be returned within 7 days of delivery, provided they remain sealed and in their original condition.

Return shipping for unwanted items is at the customer's cost. Once we receive and inspect the return, your refund will be processed within 5 business days.

Can I return a fragrance I've opened?

For hygiene and product integrity reasons, opened fragrances cannot be returned unless the product is defective.

This is standard practice across the fragrance industry — once a bottle has been opened or sprayed, it cannot be resold.

My order arrived damaged. What do I do?

We're sorry to hear that. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damaged item and packaging.

We'll arrange a replacement or refund wherever applicable, and Kavrah Scents will cover any return shipping costs in this case.

How long do refunds take to process?

Once we receive your returned item and confirm it meets our return conditions, your refund will be processed to the original payment method within 5 business days.

Bank processing times may add an additional 1–3 business days before the funds reflect in your account.

Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

All payments on Kavrah Scents are processed securely through PayFast, South Africa's leading payment gateway. Through PayFast you can pay using:

Visa and Mastercard credit or debit cards, Instant EFT, SnapScan, Zapper, and other supported payment methods available at checkout.

Is my payment information safe?

Yes. Kavrah Scents never sees or stores your card details. All payments are processed by PayFast, which is PCI-DSS compliant and adheres to the security standards set by Visa, Mastercard, and the broader payment industry.

The Fragrances

How long do Kavrah fragrances last on skin?

Kavrah fragrances are formulated at a 30% oil concentration — significantly higher than most Eau de Parfums on the market. This means longer-lasting wear, stronger projection, and deeper development on the skin throughout the day.

Most wearers experience 8 to 24 hours of longevity, depending on skin type, climate, and how the fragrance is applied.

What sizes are available?

Each Kavrah fragrance is available in three sizes:

30ml — Compact and travel-friendly.
50ml — A considered everyday size.
100ml — For the fragrances you reach for most.

Are Kavrah fragrances original creations?

Each Kavrah fragrance draws from the world's most celebrated scent profiles — reimagined through premium oils sourced from leading houses across France, Switzerland, and beyond.

We partner with trusted suppliers who share our commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and consistency at every step. We don't pretend to have invented the scents we love — we make them accessible, properly made, and worn with confidence.

How should I store my fragrance?

To preserve the integrity of your fragrance, store the bottle in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperature changes.

Avoid keeping fragrances in bathrooms where humidity and heat fluctuations can degrade the oils over time.

Are Kavrah fragrances suitable for sensitive skin?

Our oils are sourced from established perfumery houses and meet international quality standards. However, individual sensitivities vary.

If you have known fragrance allergies or particularly sensitive skin, we recommend doing a patch test on your inner wrist before full application.

Orders & Support

How do I place an order?

Simply browse our collection, select your preferred fragrance and size, and add it to your cart. At checkout, enter your delivery details and complete payment through PayFast. You'll receive an order confirmation immediately by email.

Can I cancel or change my order?

If your order hasn't yet been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to assist.

Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be changed or cancelled and will need to follow our standard returns process.

How can I track my order?

Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking details from our courier partner. You can use this to monitor your delivery from collection to your door.

How quickly will I get a response?

We respond to all enquiries within 24 hours, Monday to Friday. Messages received over weekends or public holidays will be answered the next business day.
